The morning was spent at the @mintauxiliary Spring Symposium listening to a husband-wife interior design team that was new to me but incredibly talented. When tasked with designing an 800 square foot guest cottage on a large family property outside of Tallahassee, FL, @cbrandoningram paid close attention to scale, necessities and ways to embellish the natural light.
For example, the windows are slightly larger than the average window to allow more natural light into the space and each interior wall is painted the same @benjaminmoore Swiss Coffee to camouflage corners and make the space feel larger. It feels open and larger than 800 square feet to me! What do you think?
The front and back porch are not included in the 800 square feet and add priceless living space.
The haint blue ceiling color on the front and back porch is Waterscape by @sherwinwilliams. A true nod to its southern roots.

Sprawling in Historic Brookhaven | classic architectural details, mature Augusta-worthy landscaping and large entertainment spaces inside and out. This one has me swooning!
